1.Tugboat Rubber Fenders are often used on the bow and stern of tugs as primary pushing fenders. Their circular shape makes them ideal when working with large bow flares such as container ships, but they are equally suited to pushing flat sided vessels. Available in diameters of up to 80cm and in very long lengths, Tugboat Rubber Fenders are fitted to the tug hull with a longitudinal chain running down the fender bore. On larger fenders, these chains are supplemented by circumferential restraints ¨C either sleeved chains or webbing straps ¨C which sit in special grooves moulded into the fender body at intervals along its length. The ends of the Tugboat Rubber Fenders can be tapered to help fair them into the hull.
2.Tugboat Rubber Fender has no damage to the paint as well as ship hull due to low face pressure and it is adjustable to any variety of shape with the flexibility. It is easy to install the grooved body with simple chain, wire or rope.
3.A complete ˇ°ready to installˇ± fender kit including tapered ends, connecting plugs, end plugs, drill holes as well as numbered stern and bow fender sets are available. Tugboat fenders are also often used for other applications or structures.
